The holiday season is a time when many of us reflect on what matters most: family, safety, and hope for the future. For survivors of trauma and hardship, these basic needs are often out of reach. This year, from now until December 30th, we are launching a special campaign to raise $58,000. This fund will cover rent, food, medical care, clothing, and education for up to 15 survivors, while also allowing us to hire paid staff to provide the support they need. Your donation can transform lives and bring lasting change during this season of giving.
Why This Campaign Matters Now
Survivors face ongoing challenges that extend far beyond their initial escape from danger. Many struggle to find stable housing, access healthcare, and secure education for themselves or their children. Without steady support, their path to rebuilding a life remains uncertain.
The $58,000 goal is carefully calculated to cover:
One year’s rent for safe housing
Nutritious food for survivors and their families
Medical care
Clothing appropriate for all seasons
School fees and supplies for up to 15 children
Salaries for trained staff who provide daily assistance
This campaign combines the spirit of all holidays between now and the end of the year — a time of generosity, hope, and renewal. Your gift will be a beacon of light for those who need it most.
How Your Donation Makes a Difference
Every dollar you give directly supports survivors in tangible ways. Here’s how your contribution can help:
$25 provides 5 days worth of healthy meals for one person
$100 covers school supplies for one child for a term
$500 provides 1 season worth of clothes for 3 survivors
$1,000 pays for a month´s rent
$2,000 covers a full-time staff member for 2 months
These examples show how even small donations add up to meaningful change. Together, we can create a community where survivors feel secure, cared for, and empowered to build new futures.

Stories of Hope and Renewal
Last Christmas, two children and their mom were in captivity — trafficked, nameless, and unseen. Just four months ago, they escaped with their 17-year-old mother and found sanctuary at Project Angel.
They still don’t have names. They are called Nino and Nina. But for the first time, they have something else: a safe place to begin healing. They love curling up and sleeping safely together when they are here, while their mom also gets rest. Thanks to donors like you, they now receive 4 hours of trauma-conscious care, 3 days a week — a space to breathe, to feel, to get shelter for those few hours and to begin again.
This will be their first holiday season where they’re free to celebrate. Their deepest wish? To stay and live here at Project Angel HQ instead of living outside in the rain in the high mountains to avoid recapture.
Ways to Get Involved
You can join this campaign in several meaningful ways:
Make a one-time donation online
Set up a monthly gift to provide ongoing support
Organize a fundraiser with friends, family, or colleagues
Share this campaign on your social networks to spread the word
Volunteer your time if you live nearby and want to help directly
Every action counts and brings us closer to reaching the $58,000 goal. The combined spirit of the holidays encourages us to give generously and thoughtfully.
What Happens After the Campaign
Once the funds are raised, we will immediately allocate resources to cover rent, food, medical care, clothing, and education for survivors. Paid staff will be hired to ensure consistent, professional support. We will provide updates on how the money is used and share stories of progress.
Transparency and accountability are priorities. Donors will receive reports and invitations to events where they can meet survivors and staff, deepening the connection between giving and impact.
Your Gift Brings Lasting Change
This holiday season, your donation is more than a gift. It is a lifeline that helps survivors regain stability and hope. It is a chance for children to attend school and dream of a brighter future. It is support for staff who dedicate themselves to healing and rebuilding lives.
By joining this campaign, you become part of a community committed to making a real difference. Together, we can ensure that survivors do not face the new year alone or without resources.
Please consider donating today. Your generosity will echo through the lives you touch, creating a ripple effect of kindness and strength.
